Holly has been in the industry since 2006 when she joined Checkout Travel as a student. She quickly moved up the ranks to manager and eventually became an equal partner with Giles in 2014. She heads up the operations of the business as well as maintaining an ever-growing leisure and corporate client base. Holly’s top travel memories thus far is a toss-up between quad biking in Santorini and cooling off in the sea from her water bungalow in the Maldives. The next tick on her bucket list would be driving the winding roads of Ireland with over-night stops in a castle or two.

Giles opened up Checkout Travel (Club Travel Fourways in those days) in 2003. He has travelled extensively around the world, worked and operated in different facets of the travel industry and is passionate about researching and implementing new products and technologies. He completed his MBA in 2020 and has been putting it to good use in the business. He is an avid cyclist, loves camping with his family and this adventure junkie’s best travel destination is South-East Asia. The next tick on his bucket list is to complete a journey across Bolivia’s remarkable salt flats. Giles assists Holly in operating Checkout Travel and heads up the sales and marketing of the company.

Sean has had an illustrious career in travelling the world which has involved working on a Kibbutz in Israel, bartending in London as well as spending 3 years working on cruise ships in the Caribbean. He first got involved in being a travel agent when he opened up a travel agency with Giles and another partner in 2005. He co-managed the agency for six years after which he moved on to manage and operate various other businesses and operations before realising that travel is where his heart lies.  One of the things he loves most about being a travel designer, apart from actually exploring himself, is putting together a package for a client and on their return hearing how amazing it was, and all the cool stories shared.

Some of his most memorable experiences include scuba diving in Thailand, hiking through rice paddies in the Philippines and swimming with stingrays in the Cayman Islands. He loves experiencing new cultures and cuisines wherever he goes, and next on his travel bucket list is Croatia. Having worked with many Croatians along the way, he has always been intrigued to add it to his many amazing travel memories.
