Checked baggage
Qatar Airways’ free baggage allowance varies according to your route and cabin class.
 
Flights to and from Brazil
For Economy, Business & First Class - two bags weighing no more than 32 kg
 
Flights between Brazil and Argentina 
For Economy, Business & First Class - two bags weighing no more than 23 kg.
 
For all other flights to and from Argentina, Canada and the US
Economy Class - two bags weighing no more than 23 kg each
Business & First Class - two bags weighing no more than 32 kg each.
 
For flights to all other destinations
Economy Class - a total luggage allowance of 30 kg*
Business Class - a total luggage allowance of 40 kg*
First Class -  a total luggage allowance of 50 kg*
 
* A single piece of luggage may not weigh more than 32 kg.
 
Hand luggage
Economy Class - one piece not weighing more than 7 kg
Business & First Class - two pieces with a total weight not exceeding 15 kg
 
While laptops are included in this allowance, a handbag or small briefcase, walking sticks, cameras, and duty-free purchases are permitted as extras.
 
Restrictions
Dangerous goods

Transporting liquids
International security regulations have placed restrictions on the quantity of liquid, aerosols and gels (LAGs) that passengers are allowed in their hand luggage when travelling overseas. The packaging and transportation requirements are as follows:
 
LAGs must be stored in 100 ml containers and then packed in a 20 cm x 20 cm transparent, re-sealable plastic bag.
One bag is allowed per passenger and must be shown at airport security.
Medication, baby products and special dietary products are exempt, as are some duty free purchases.
 
CHECK IN
Airport check in 
Typically open 3 hours prior to departure and closes 1 hour prior to departure for economy class, and 45 minutes for first and business class passengers.
 
Online check in
Choose your seat, print your boarding pass, and then hand your bags over at one of the airport’s fast-bag-drop counters.
For flights between the US and Dohar, online check in opens 24 hours prior to departure.
For all other flights, online check in is open up to 36 hours prior to departure and closes 90 minutes prior to departure.
