Of course you love spending time with your children, but every parent understands that sometimes time apart is also good. Whether you like to get dressed up and spend a quiet meal alone with your partner, read your book in peace by the pool, or set off on a game fishing adventure, how well your hotel is equipped to take care of your precious children is important. They’ll have a great time keeping busy with all the fun activities at the hotels Kids’ Club, and at the end of the day, you’ll get to hear about each other’s adventures.

Activities

There is a huge choice of kid-friendly activities to keep you and the kids occupied and having fun.

Learn about nature

There is so much more to Mauritius than its perfect, white sandy beaches. Take a tour of the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden(it’s a mouthful!) to discover tropical plants from all over the world. The kids will be amazed by the giant Amazonian lilly pads. If you travel south to La Vanille Nature Parkyou’ll have a grand time checking out beady-eyed crocodile and giant tortoises, as well as monkeys, bats and other fun critters. Don’t forget about the Mauritius Aquariumin the north of the island. It’s good for about 90 minutes of exploration and a perfect activity if it’s raining.

Go on an adventure

When you’re down south and feeling brave, tackle the 500m zipline at Vallée des Couleurs reserve. It’s quite a thrill as you whizz over fields and treetops, with the most fantastic views. There are also great hiking trails in the area.

Watery fun

Venture beneath the waves and discover an underwater world of beautiful coral and marine life inside a miniature submarineor gaze through a glass-bottomed boatfrom above. These are not to be missed activities!
