DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport, our local guide will collect you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Your room will be available from 14:00 onwards. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Meals are on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: HANOI – HOA LU – TRANG AN (B, L)

Morning

7:00 – 7:15: You will be picked up from your hotel by car and guide, then depart for Ninh Binh, a renowned tourist destination situated in the Red River Delta, approximately 110 km south of Hanoi.

10:45: Arrival in Ninh Binh; the tour begins with visits to the famous temples:

Temple of King Dinh – dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, founder of the Dinh Dynasty, Vietnam’s first dynasty.

Temple of King Le – dedicated to King Le Dai Hanh, founder of the Early Le Dynasty, which succeeded the Dinh Dynasty.

12:00: Take a break and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

13:30: Travel by car to the heart of the Trang An eco-tourism area. You will embark on a boat to explore the cave system, featuring unique and captivating stalactite formations such as: Dark Cave, Sang Cave, Nau Ruou Cave, Sinh Cave, Si Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Dia Linh Cave… These caves are recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural and natural heritage site.

16:00: Board the car to return to your hotel in Hanoi.

18:30: Arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi, concluding the tour. Dinner is on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Notes: To ensure a smooth and pleasant start to your tour, please inform the hotel reception of your dietary needs (such as strict vegan or Jain food) and request breakfast boxes to be prepared for your early departure. It is advisable to notify the reception during the afternoon or early evening (before 20:00) the day BEFORE your tour. For example, if your group consists of two people, please ask the reception to prepare two breakfast boxes. The hotel’s kitchen will carefully prepare these boxes, allowing you to conveniently take them with you and enjoy a satisfying breakfast without any inconvenience or compromise to your dietary requirement.

DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT CRUISE (B, L, D)

After checking out and having breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be transported to the gem of northern Vietnam – Halong Bay. The journey will take you through the scenic paddy fields and mountains of the Red River Delta. At the bay, you’ll witness the magic of this world-renowned wonder.

From the harbor, embark on our boat for a cruise amidst the myriad limestone karsts emerging from the emerald waters. You’ll stop to explore a grotto filled with stunning stalactites and stalagmites and anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cave. Meals will be served aboard the cruise, where you’ll spend the night.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DANANG – HOIAN (B, BR)

After breakfast, take the opportunity to swim, sunbathe, and unwind against the captivating backdrop of the bay. Following brunch on board at around 11:30 am, you’ll be transferred back to Hanoi by cruise shuttle bus. A private driver will meet you at the designated point to take you to the airport for your domestic flight to Danang.

Upon arrival at Danang airport, you’ll be greeted by our guide and driver who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Meals are on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5: CAM THANH COCONUT JUNGLE – COOKING CLASS (B, L)

In your exploration of Vietnam, seize the chance to become a professional chef with our guidance. This immersive experience includes visiting the market to select ingredients and preparing and cooking Vietnamese dishes.

13:00: A local guide will pick you up from the hotel.

– Visit the market with our chef (approximately 30 minutes).

– Experience the hustle and bustle and interact with local vendors. We will also select ingredients for our cooking lesson.

09:15 am: – Depart for Cam Thanh village by car or boat. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque Vietnamese countryside and the coexistence of water and coconut trees.

– Take pleasure in rowing a basket boat through the dense coconut forest.

11:00 am: Savor a welcome drink and relax at our restaurant before starting the cooking class. Our chef will guide you through the preparation of local dishes. After the class, enjoy the fruits of your labor.

19:00 pm: Return to your hotel. The tour concludes.

DAY 6: BANA HILLS – GOLDEN HAND BRIDGE (B, L)

07:30 am – 08:00 am: Our minivan and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby. Embark on a journey to Ba Na Hills via cable car.

Relish your ride on Southeast Asia’s most advanced cable car, visit the Dream Stream Cable Car Station, and take in the stunning views of Da Nang’s coastline.

Upon completing the first cable car ride, explore The Golden Bridge – noted for its unique design and recognized as one of the world’s most spectacular pedestrian bridges by The Guardian. Visit Le Jardin D’amour (comprising 9 gardens), Linh Ung Pagoda.

Board the second Cable Car to visit the French Village, where you can enjoy street music, view art statues, Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, watch the Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome, and more.

Enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant.

Board the Lava Train at Sun Kingdom to explore new attractions such as Helios Waterfall, Time Gate, and The Moon Kingdom. Participate in Fantasy Park activities like wandering in Fairy Forest, uncovering Dinosaur Park, playing 5D Wild West, experiencing the 4D Death Race ride, watching the 3D Mega 360-degree movie, embarking on a journey into the underground, exploring Jurassic Park, trying the Freefall Tower, and more.

3:00 pm: Depart from Ba Na Hills via the cable car.

4:45 – 5:45 pm: Our minivan will transport you back to your hotel. The tour concludes.

Note: The Bana Hills ticket does not include entry to the Wax Statue Museum, France Wine Cellar, Roller Coaster, Climbing game, or any games with prizes and the 10D movie. Participation in these is at your own expense.

DAY 7: HOI AN – DANANG FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH (B)

Post breakfast, head to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam’s largest city, without a tour guide.

Upon landing, our guide and driver will welcome you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Meals are on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 8: DAY TRIP TO MY THO – MEKONG DELTA (B, L)

PICK UP: 07:30 – 08:00 (Pick-up time will vary based on your hotel’s exact location).

RETURN: 17:30

ROUTE: HCMC – My Tho – Ben Tre – HCMC

Itinerary:

Depart from the dynamic Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, a peaceful town on the Mekong River’s banks. Begin with a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, dating back to the late 19th century. Then, embark on a sampan to meander down the river, exploring the four famous islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.

At Unicorn Island, stroll through the rural paths, observe orchards, savor tropical fruits, and listen to folk music performed by the locals. Explore the fruit plantation.

Enjoy a hand-rowed sampan ride through Thoi Son canal, immersing yourself in the countryside’s charm, visiting a family business, a honey-bee farm, and a coconut candy workshop.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant followed by a break.

In the afternoon, cycle around Tan Thach village, engage with the villagers, and witness the Mekong delta’s everyday life. Relax in a hammock and enjoy the cool breeze.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Trip concludes. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 9: CU CHI TUNNELS TOUR – MORNING TOUR (B)

PICK UP: Morning option: 07:30 am – 08:00 am (pick-up time depends on the exact location of your hotel/accommodation).

RETURN: 14:30 pm

ROUTE: HCMC – Cu Chi district – HCMC

Highlights:

Located 70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City Center, the Cu Chi tunnels are an impressive destination. Known as the “area of steel” during wartime, the over 200 km tunnel network was deemed an indestructible underground village in the Vietnam-American war. Famous for its extensive tunnels, it attracts both Vietnamese and international tourists.

Itinerary:

The journey from your hotel to Cu Chi is approximately one and a half hours by bus.

Upon arrival, you will receive a brief introduction and watch an introductory video about the tunnel construction and the inhabitants’ survival strategies during wartime. You will then have time to explore the remaining areas and tunnel systems, which include specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms, and other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. These facilities ensured basic needs were met for those living in the tunnels. Additionally, the tunnels contain hidden trap doors and various security traps. After exploring, enjoy special tea and cassava, the guerilla’s wartime food.

There will be a break for relaxation or an opportunity for those interested in trying out a real shooting gun.

Return to Saigon. Trip ends. Meals on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)

You have the day at your leisure until the airport transfer (unaccompanied by a guide) for your departure flight. The room is available until 12:00 noon. Meals are for your own expense.
